SCHEME OF EXAMINATION Each year is divided into two terms. There will be an examination at the end of each academic year(2nd term). Every student of the BDS degree course is required to pass four professional examinations at the end of Ist, IInd, IIIrd & IVth academic year. A candidate is eligible to attend the University examination on satisfying attendance, progress and proper conduct stipulated by the college and the University. A candidate who fails in the exam can appear in the next examination (supplementary) to be held six months later ie., at the end of the first term. INTERNAL EXAMINATION The college will conduct a set of three internal examinations during the course of each academic year. A final internal examination ( theory & pre-clinical/clinical) will be held at the end of the academic year before the University examination. A candidate must acquire a minimum of 50% marks in each of the internal examinations. The average of the four conducted exams will be sent to the University as the internal marks for each subject. UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION Examination at the end of each academic year will be conducted in the following subjects: Ist BDS
